The City of Hollywood was founded in 1925, it grew rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now the twelfth largest city in Florida. It is about 30 square miles in size and has a population of roughly 143,000 residents. Average annual temperatures range from a high of 83 degrees to a low of 68 degrees. Hollywood is home to over 60 parks, seven golf courses, seven miles of pristine beaches, and the one-of-a-kind Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, a brick-paved promenade that stretches nearly 2.5 miles along the Atlantic Ocean.
